Update: Recycle Bill Passes!
Thanks to your calls to representatives on HB395, the Solid Wastes & Recyclable Materials Management Act was voted on in regular session and passed the Senate as well after clearing the House then on to Governor Riley who signed it into law! Thanks, everyone, for encouraging our legislators and governor to take a step in the right direction. This is a great opportunity for recycling in Alabama!
