Glass
All glass containers are accepted in one large glass bin on the front edge of the center, you can't miss it. All colors are accepted and can be placed in the same bin together. Toss them in, it's ok if they break 
Please do NOT toss in any light bulbs of any sort, mirrors, window glass, etc. Just glass containers. Most common contributions? Beer and wine, condiments, spaghetti sauce, and many more. The AEC Dropoff is one of very few places to accept glass in the state.
Glass is very difficult to recycle due to restrictions by Alabama laws on what the pulverized glass can be used for. We are lucky to have Argos come pick up glass every week that they use in processing at their cement plant. Changes to ALADOT policies allowing pulverized glass to be used in aggregates for paving would be a big help and make glass recycling more widespread in Alabama.
